Where is the License preference page?

To get to the License page, select Window > Preferences from your Eclipse menu. From the list on the left, select the product you are trying to activate and expand the tree to see more options (Example: Profiler > License). Click on License to open the License page.

I already activated the product but why do I still keep getting the Activation dialog?

First, open the Product's License preference page and make sure it says activated.

The most common reason is that you're trying to use a feature that you are not licensed to use.

For example:
  • You purchased SWT Designer only or RCP Developer which includes SWT Designer and you're trying to edit a Swing component in design mode.
  • You purchased Swing Designer only and you're trying to edit a SWT component in design mode.
  • You purchased GWT Designer only and you're trying to edit a SWT/JFace/Swing component in design mode.
  • You purchased WindowBuilder (which includes SWT, Swing and GWT Designer) and you have activated one of the components instead of WindowBuilder.
  • You purchased CodePro Analytix and you're trying to use a CodePro PlusPak feature.
  • Compilation errors in your code can also trigger the activation dialog.
  • If you get a "Unknown Window Type (Parsing Error)", please see this WindowBuilder FAQ.

I bought RCP Developer and activation was sucessfull. I created a JFrame and tried to switch to Design tab and it asks me to activate again. How come?

RCP Developer includes a full license to SWT Designer for editing SWT, JFace and RCP components. Use of any of the Swing Designer features (like editing a JFrame) would require a Swing Designer license.

I sent an email to registration@instantiations.com but why haven't I received a reply?

The registration@instantiations.com address is just an automated bot that responds to e-mail activation requests. You should not send email messages to this address except when sending the form generated by our activation wizard. Do not put any additional messages.

I am trying to activate the product and it says, "Your activation key has been sent to the following email address:", but I have not received the activation email.
